Aloha, and welcome to my Internet gallery.  I 'm an artist specializing in acrylics and watercolors living on the island of Maui, a place of beauty and a spiritual haven! About the Artist: Marjorie Tyler

Painting has been my life long passion. Since childhood I have taken numerous art classes and was fortunate to always receive encouragement from my mother who was an artist. A career in clinical social work left time for art along with the study of Ikebana, the art of Japanese Flower arranging, in which I am a certified instructor.

It was not until my move to Maui in 2003 that I was able to pursue art as the major focus of my creative energy. I am enchanted with the light and vivid color in all forms of nature on this magical island. Shells, corals, flowers and points of interest have become the subjects of my watercolors and acrylics.

I have shown and sold my paintings and cards at the Banyan Tree Gallery, Maui Art Gallery LLC, Ano Ano Gallery, The Maui Tropical Plantation-Tropical Nursery, the Maui Ocean Center , the Hui, and Martin & McArthur stores on Maui and Oahu . My painting “Beyond Form” was juried into Art Maui 2007.
